How to allow only certain applications to show dialog boxes in WinCE6.0 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm having a bit of hard time with suppressing dialogue boxes. Currently I inherited quite a bit of code... and while i've been using wince for a while, this goes beyond what i've experienced.

Currently our configuration is to use our kiosk mode app to poll every second and steal back focus from dialogue boxes such as the activesync connection. But I've noticed this doesn't work with error dialogue boxes. Or maybe there is something else that interferes with the app from stealing focus back.

I'm wondering if there is a better way to handle windows that aren't my main app. I don't want anything else to be able to popup a message to the user. What would be nice is to figure out a way to route those message through my app so i can decide whether or not its worth showing the user, or showing a more generic message.
