DBML Class Builder, Singular/Plural RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm new in using Visual Studio 2010 (Ultimate, MSDNAA). I'm discovering LINQ to SQL and DBML.

I have created the table named CourseOfStudies. The designer tries to make a class"CourseOfStudy" (Pluralization is on). I can correct it to "CourseOfStudies" on diagram, no problem. But this table depends on the another one. The designer creates a collection named "CourseOfStudies" instead of "CoursesOfStudies". Is it a way to force this tool to use my own settings? Can I handle this somehow? (the best option imho would be "Plural Name" property near "Name" in designer).

    Best regards,

    Wlodek

  • This forum is for the class diagram editor. Try the Linq to SQL forum under the Data Platform Development category instead.
