Monitoring Azure Scheduler with SCOM RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is it possible to monitor Azure Scheduler Jobs with SCOM?

If so, what if any management packs or SCOM configuration is there?

    Many thanks, Andy

Answers

  • Correct. Only work around I could think if you could create a powershell script that does the REST/API call then call that from SCOM.

  • There are no management packs or SCOM configurations. There is a REST/API for scheduler, if that can be used from SCOM.

  • Thanks Jonny, I came to the same conclusion.

I'm also not sure if SCOM supports custom monitoring via REST

  • Azure Scheduler can be monitored with a 3rd party product, CloudMonix.  CloudMonix is a cloud-based monitoring product that is pretty much dedicated to monitoring all things Azure.
