Hi,
regarding BizTalk Server's implementation of SSO, Enterprise Single Sign-On, there's a bunch of information available which could serve as a starting point, for example:
Understanding Enterprise Single Sign-On
An introducing chapter about Managing the SSO system, mainly <ssomanage> and <ssoconfig> commands, is available in this book

Hi
You can also use SSO as configuration storage in BizTalk applications to store name-value pairs. Please see BizTalk SSO Configuration Data Storage Tool blog post by Richard Seroter. I have been using this since long time to store config values of my BizTalk apps to SSO , another use of SSO.
Another blog post about SSO as configuration is here by Elton
I hope this helps.
