WEC7: socket error 10047 after Platformbuilder Update RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi everybody,

After I have updated my Platform-Builder (clean installation) to the monthly update from September, I have problems opening sockets:

    socket(AF_INET, SOCK_DGRAM, IPPROTO_UDP)

    same with

    socket(AF_INET, SOCK_DGRAM, IPPROTO_IP)

The error code is always 10047. Also tried to use different winsock verisons, ws2.lib (winsock 2.2) or winsock.lib (1.x).  I have not found any combination that works, and it worked fine before I updated.

The system startup is without obvious problems, so I can bind an IP address and I’m able to ping my target.

I have an ATOME600 platform with EG20T Ethernet interface and therefore using the ATOME600 BSP 3.1.0 from Adeneo.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you and best Regards!

    Chris

P.S. By updating my Platfomrbuilder I hoped to fix my other Problem with the KeepAlive: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/1fcf4ad9-d918-4c1c-a9b9-aa795120165e/wec7-keepalivetime-not-working?forum=winembplatdev#1fcf4ad9-d918-4c1c-a9b9-aa795120165e
