I have downloaded the UI application block, but when tried it with the actual VS.net we are using (VS 7.0), it said it is not possible to load. (The format is VS 8.0). Is it possible obtain a download version for VS 7.0?

You can manually re-create the projects and the solution, but the only real downside is that the web page can't be designed when you use web views.

I guess that alot of people dont really play with the solution files very often. As long as you have installed the 1.1 framework the code will work without a problem. But first you will need to make a few changes. In the solution file (opening in notepad) you will find a version number at the top. It will read version 8. Change it to version 7. Then in each project file, change the following : ProductVersion = "7.10.3077" SchemaVersion = "2.0" to: ProductVersion = "7.0.9466" SchemaVersion = "1.0" now the projects will work fine in vs2002 without any problems.
