    Not sure if this is Visual Studio or Azure DevOps problem. I added my ASP.NET web forms project to Source Control/VSTS and after pushing project to DevOps some subfolders were not copied to DevOps repository and following errors were generated during build:

    /*errros

    Details Job1 5 error(s), 5 warning(s)

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2017\Enterprise\MSBuild\15.0\Bin\Microsoft.Common.CurrentVersion.targets(4544,5): Error MSB3030: Could not copy the file "D:\a\1\s\WebReporting\SqlServerTypes\x64\msvcr120.dll" because it was not found.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2017\Enterprise\MSBuild\15.0\Bin\Microsoft.Common.CurrentVersion.targets(4544,5): Error MSB3030: Could not copy the file "D:\a\1\s\WebReporting\SqlServerTypes\x64\SqlServerSpatial140.dll" because it was not found.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2017\Enterprise\MSBuild\15.0\Bin\Microsoft.Common.CurrentVersion.targets(4544,5): Error MSB3030: Could not copy the file "D:\a\1\s\WebReporting\SqlServerTypes\x86\msvcr120.dll" because it was not found.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2017\Enterprise\MSBuild\15.0\Bin\Microsoft.Common.CurrentVersion.targets(4544,5): Error MSB3030: Could not copy the file "D:\a\1\s\WebReporting\SqlServerTypes\x86\SqlServerSpatial140.dll" because it was not found.

    Process 'msbuild.exe' exited with code '1'.

    */errors

    My project contains Report Viewer package and SqlServerTypes with x64 and x86 subfolders added to project content. After pushing project to DevOps all subfolders are missing from the VSTS repo. Another subfolder used in the app also was not pushed to DevOps.

    Can you please suggest how this can be resolved?

    Hi Archy0001,

    According to your description, I suggest you could try to add the folder from local by using git.

    git add

    Then you could use git push to push the folder to the vsts repro.

    Best Regards,

    Brando

    Thank you Brando for your reply.

    Adding subfolders manually works - I added all missing subfolders manually directly in DevOps, and build succeeded.

    it is just strange that auto sync/push ignores ALL subfolders.
