I have an ASP .Net site developed in VS 2008.

From the end users end, i would like them to type something like http://intranet.company.com which will work INTERNALLY only, or even www.companyintranet.com

I would like to host it on our Windows 2003 Server part of a domain (which already has DNS installed).
The server i would like to install it on is a member server which already has IIS and ASP installed.

How would i go about configuring this? I would appreciate any step by step instructions/articles.

    Thanks

Do you have separate internal and external domains?  If so, add a host (A) record to the internal domain with the host name you wish, such as "www", pointing to the IP that IIS is answering on and you're done.
