Legacy PosPrinter Simulator? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am in need of a PosPrinter simulator that I can use for testing a legacy POS application (Aloha).

I just need to be able to print text to the screen from the application, but I can't seem to figure out a way to do it.

I was thinking that perhaps I could somehow modify the PosPrinterSimulator that comes with POS for .NET to make an OPOS Service Object out of it, but I don't know how to do that.

Can anyone give me some direction? I have this sneaking suspicion that I am making this harder than it has to be because i know so little about pos hardware.

I would be grateful for any assistance...
