Load styles from file in navigation menu using word add-in RRS feed

  • How to load styles from .dotm file to word and display it in navigation menu using word add-ins Ribbon in MS-Word ?

    I can load the styles but I want to show it in navigation menu appear in the left of the active word file

    the code to load the Styles is :

    private void AttachTemplatestyle(Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.Document document, string templateFilePath)
    {
        object oTemplate = (object)templateFilePath;
        document.set_AttachedTemplate(ref oTemplate);
        document.UpdateStyles();
    }

  • I don't know what you mean by "Navigation menu"? Do you mean the Navigation Pane, where you can view the document as structured by heading styles, by page thumbnail or do Find?

    You can't modify the Navigation Pane, but how would you expect a list of styles be incorporated in the Navigation Pane? A list of styles is not something that "navigates"? Wouldn't it make more sense to look for them in the Styles pane?
