Not sure how to generate Css Source Map File from SCSS file in Visual Studio 2017 Community Edition RRS feed

    trying to generate css source map file 'main.css.map' from newly create .scss file in visual studio 2017 community edition,,

    have installed updates for 'Web Compiler' and 'Web Essentials' , 

    however, just only got to generate main.min.css & main.css

    Yes. The source map is base64 encoded and inlined in the file.

    Hi larnvok09,

    As far as I know,Web Compiler differs from it's predecesor, Web Essentials, in that it inlines a base64 encoded version of the map in the generated .css file rather than producing a separate .map file.
