Error in using Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data RRS feed

  • I created one C# application I used 'using Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data' but it showing an error

    Error    1    The type or namespace name 'ApplicationBlocks' does not exist in the namespace 'Microsoft' (are you missing an assembly reference?)  


    can anybody tell me a solution to using this namespace

    Thank you for your post.

    To apply Data Access Application Block for development, could you please check the following points:

    - Install the Data Access Application Block. We can download the latest version (2.0) of this block from: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=f63d1f0a-9877-4a7b-88ec-0426b48df275&displaylang=en.
    - We should add the Data Access Block to our project. To do this, right click on the references node and click Add Reference. Click on the Browse and select the Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.dll and click Ok button.
