How to rename "API Connection" created during a Logic App creation? RRS feed

  • Question

  • How do I rename the api connection that was auto-generated during a Logic app creation?  I did try the ARM template route but was unsuccessful.  The error was "The API "sftp-a1-dev' could not be found."

  • Hi,

    Arm Template would be your answer.

    You have to keep the default name of the connection in the ID section like below 'sap' in my case. but you can have your own name in 'name' and 'display' section. Example below:

        {

          "type": "Microsoft.Web/connections",

          "name": "Yourname",

          "apiVersion": "2016-06-01",

          "location": "australiasoutheast",

          "scale": null,

          "properties": {

            "displayName": "yourname",

            "customParameterValues": {},

            "api": {

              "id": "/subscriptions/e9cf2aa0-e157-48aa-b8b6-556da88ab8f8/providers/Microsoft.Web/locations/australiasoutheast/managedApis/sap"

            }

          },

          "dependsOn": []

        },

    Cheers.
