  • Hi vfrriderus,

    Welcome to the MSDN forum.

The Access 2003 runtime was included in Visual Studio Tools for Office 2003.

Visual Studio Tools for Office 2003 is installed by default with several versions of Visual Studio 2008.

Visual Studio Tools for Office is included with the following editions of Visual Studio:

    Visual Studio 2008 Professional

    Team Edition for Architects

    Team Edition for Database Professionals

    Team Edition for Developers

    Team Edition for Testers

BTW, since the support for the Access 2003 and Visual Studio 2008 already ended, you can have a look at this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/search?alpha=access%202003

For a support for your development about Access Runtime in the future, you can think about use the latest version of Access Runtime like Microsoft Access 2016 Runtime: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=50040

    Best regards,

    Sara
