Changes in Display Settings(text size) cause letter to shrink RRS feed

  • Question

  • Today, I changed my display settings to medium in the control panel. Then I switched back to small but I got a problem. Although the UI looks fine, the text in context menus and other things like windows titles etc are really small. They aren't normal anymore. And its not and optical illusion, I checked. I can't make them normal again. Is this a bug?

  • I tried reproducing the issue with your instructions, but everything seems to be in order on my end.  Have you attempted running the "Refresh your PC without affecting your files" option to see if it repairs the issue?  To do so:

    1. Navigate to Start > Control Panel
    2. Select the General section on the left column
    3. Click the "Get started" button under "Refresh your PC without affecting your files" and follow the help wizard

Just be aware that doing this will keep your files, personalization settings and your apps from the Windows Store.  All other programs will be removed and your PC settings will be restored back to their defaults.

Please keep us updated on your progress.    :D

  • Try restart your PC and then update your PC and install latest update.

  • Unfortunately, that didn't solve the problem.
