  • Hi all,

    whenever database is corrupt it is possible to take the Tail -log backup.

    like that whenever server is corrupt  is it possible to take the Tail -log backup.

  • run this command

    select DATABASEPROPERTYEX('dbname','status')

    if this returns online as result then you can

  • Most likely, assuming the ldf file is thill there, of course. Dpending on your SQL Server DBA skills, you might want to let MS suppport help you with this... I blogged this a while ago:
