Project Server 2010 programatically submit time sheet RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

We are using project server 2010. And looking for the following customization.

    1. Submit the time sheet programatically against a fixed task for some users.

    2. Send mail alert to group of peoples when there is a change in project start, finish, baseline and milestone dates.

Is there is any way to achieve this. If so is there is any sample code available.

    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks, Arun

  • Hi Arun,

Methods in the TimeSheet class can create, delete, submit, update, read, recall, or find the status of timesheets.

You can get the sample code in the below article:

  • Can you explain it clearly, what do you mean by publishing the time sheet, are you asking publishing the schedule?

  • I believe mail alerts are already there in project server when you publish the schedule.

Regarding submitting timesheet, why do you want to submit the weekly timesheet automatically? anyway check with the web services methods to see if there is any submit method!
