Unable to assign parameters to the call http web service action in Sharepoint designer 2013 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello:

I'm trying to use the call http action from sharepoint 2013 by using sharepoint designer:

Nonetheless whenever I click on the responseHeaders, responseContent or try to setup the requestHeaders with a dictionary variable it won't accept it  and will return to the default blue link. even if I click on create new variable it is not assigned. Look example below:

Please note the list I'm working on to create this workflow was copied from another list template. If i create a new list and a new workflow it just works fine.

  • Hello Victoria:

Thank you very much for your response. I guess the issue was because I copied the list from another site using the "Save list as template" option. I was unable to assign the parameters even if I use the advance properties window as you suggested, every time I typed in the values they got erased. I proceeded to delete the list and created a new one from scratch and I was able to assign the parameters now. this is a very odd behavior.

    Best Regards.

  • Hi Neo,

I recommend to click Advanced Properties to edit the Call HTTP Web Service properties as the image below shows to see if the issue still occurs.

    Best Regards,

    Victoria
