Problem with shutdown system from logon screen RRS feed

  • Hello
    I'm trying shut down pc remotely from service if it is on logon screen.
    I have tried use ExitWindowsEX and InitiateSystemShutdown with SE_PRIVILEGE_ENABLED but nothing happend.
    I want shut down system Windows Xp and above.
    Is there some way to do that?

  • Hi,

    You can shutdown a computer by the following command parameter: 

        shutdown -s -f -t 0


    Information:

    -s = Shutsdown
    -r = Restarts 
    -l = Logoff

    -f = Force 

    -t = time to take, if 0 = then 0 second (s).
