Opening a moved solution RRS feed

  • Question

  • This is frustrating.  I put my project (asp.net c# 3.5) project under source control (Bazaar) on the server's computer. Seems to work, more or less. But then when I check out a branch on my local computer, the solution doesn't open correctly. The directory structure changed from "C:\Program Files\MyApp\Web" to now being "C:\Program Files\MyApp\Web\trunk".  What is the "correct" procedure for putting a project under source control and then checking it out?

  • Hi MPhillips1982,

    Thank you for your post.

For your concern, could you please try to open the solution in VS IDE without the source control (Bazaar)? Can your project be opened properly?

If yes, we could isolate the possible cause of VS IDE and your project itself. Your issue could be related to Bazaar tool.
Bazaar is the third party source control tool. I'm not quite familiar with that. I would suggest you to try Bazaar support to get more useful help.

Hope this helps! If you have any concern, please feel free to let me know.

    Best regards,

  • Hi,

please copy the newest version of your application to your localdrive and delete on your server the solution and copy it back to the server. Then check it out.
