Bad Request : Schedules are not supported for recurrence unit 'Minute' RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

    I started using the Azure Scheduler and I have some troubles creating the job that I want:

    ...

    StartTime = DateTime.UtcNow,
                    Recurrence = new JobRecurrence()
                    {
                        //Frequency = JobRecurrenceFrequency.Day,
                        //Interval = 1,
                        //Count = 1,

                        Schedule = new JobRecurrenceSchedule()
                        {
                            Days = new List<JobScheduleDay>() { JobScheduleDay.Monday, JobScheduleDay.Tuesday, JobScheduleDay.Wednesday, JobScheduleDay.Thursday, JobScheduleDay.Friday },
                            Hours = new List<int>() { 10 },
                            Minutes = new List<int>() { 0 }
                        }
                    }

    ...

    This should normally means that I want to create a job that will be triggered every day from Monday to Friday at 10:00AM UTC right?

    Unfortunately, I get this error message : Bad Request : Schedules are not supported for recurrence unit 'Minute'.

    The job creation works if I don't add a personalized Schedule.

    Any help would be very appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Ambroise.

  • Ambroise,

    You need to specify Frequency = Day if you want something executed daily.  Your Schedule then modifies this to be weekdays only.

    If you give a StartTime as 10:00 UTC today (instead of 'Now'), you can omit the Hours and Minutes component to your Schedule.
