Should I use Workflow? RRS feed

  • I have a Word document that is our company's letterhead.  The letterhead contains the person's name, phone #, email address, etc.  Every letterhead is different based on who is signing it.  In Sharepoint, I have a list of all employee's with their name, phone #, email address, etc.  I want Word to populate the appropriate fields with the correct information of the user (i.e. maybe notice that "jsmith" is the current user and to grab jsmith's information from the Sharepoint list.

    So my question is....is doing something like this where I need to use a Workflow within Sharepoint?
