EXCEL 2010 create a statement of accounts based on 2 sheets RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,
With the help of Microsoft Query, I created the following 4 tabs that give us the details
Deposits, total deposits, details of purchases and total purchases. The data come from a Microsoft Access database.

I only have to update everything and the data update automatically.

On another tab (Age of accounts) I would like to be able to get the balance of the account either
total deposits less total purchases for holders

    See example below: ↓

    Thank you for your time

  • Hi,

    You could use like

    ='total deposits'!D3

    ='total purchases'!C3

    =B4-C4

For B4/C4/D4 in the sheet Age of accounts.

Use  'Sheet name' to refer to the sheet, use ! Before the cell reference.

    Regards,

    Celeste
