Sending an AS2 file to ECS 4.1, when bigger than 8k, it becomes empty at the ECS side RRS feed

  • Question

  • Our partner's AS2 platform is ECS4.1 which I have no idea.

I use Biztalk 2006 AS2Send pipeline to send an xml document. When this document is smaller than 8k, it could be received normally. But if bigger, it will become empty at our partner's side(located in a local folder for receiving). So they can just see an empty document in this folder.

I asked if they archive the inbound messages with AS2 header and suggested them to see whether the payload is empty in this message. But it seems like they don't know where to look for.

Is there some one familiar with ECS? Any clue?

    Thanks

  • That's because I enabled the chunked encoding when sending out. This function splits big outbound message into http requests of 8k size. So the receiver can't receive a whole file bigger than 8k in one http connection.

    Thank you.
