Performance Drop After Publishing Apps

  • Hi, I'm unsure on what category should I post this question, so I'll post it here.

I'm currently developing a Windows Phone 8.1 XAML app using SQLite database. When I tested it on my unlocked device, it was very fast (SELECT on database then display on screen took less than a second), but after it's published and downloaded to my device, the performace dropped significantly, it takes much longer (around 5 seconds) before the results are being shown on the screen.

The db file (30MB, indexed tables) is stored as "content" with option "copy always". It is accessed directly from the file (read only), without copying it to local storage. I've tried moving the app between phone storage and SD card, doesn't helped. Have anyone else experienced this?

IDE: Visual Studio 2015 community edition on Windows 10
Device: Microsoft Lumia 640 XL running Windows Phone 8.1

    Thank you.
