Hi Ammar,
Yes, but i want know if your other VM roles has the same issues, perhaps your can create a test VM role and deploy it on Management Portal for several days for checking, if you all VM roles has the same issues, maybe it's azure environment issues or subscription issues, you can contact our customer support on https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?prid=14234&st=1&wfxredirect=1&sd=gn.
Hope it can help you.

Hi Ammar,According to your description, it seems you deploy a VM Role in Azure Management Portal and it works fine, but you cannot use remote desktop to connect VM, i suggest you provide more situation or error messages to help us make more helpful solutions.
Here i give some potential solutions to you:
if you unable to connect to Azure VM role for a long time after deployed or restarted, you can refer to this article for a workaround:
http://techyfreak.blogspot.com/2011/01/unable-to-connect-to-azure-vm-role-for.html
if it shows "RDP Connection can not be established" after about 3 minmutes, please check this link if helpful:
if still cannot solve your issue or you get some other exceptions, please inform me. Thank you.
Hope it can help you.

Hi Arwind,
Thanks for the workarounds. First link you suggested shows we have to set "Windows Azure Remote Forwarder Service" to Delayed Automatic. I searched this service in both of the instances running but could not find it anywhere. I have attached the screenshot of the services displayed in the Services console. Where can i find this service in my azure instance?

Hi,
The "Windows Azure Remote Forwarder Service" is not in your local machine, it's in VM Role instance, as you can not access VM Role instance by remote desktop. you can use Hyper-V to open VM role's vhd file and configure services. Here is a trainning course may help you:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/wazplatformtrainingcourse_vmrolelab_topic4
If you still can not solve your issue, please inform me.

Hi Arwind,
The screenshot i took is from one of the role instance running in Windows Azure not from my local machine. I said earlier that after restarting both of the instances one by one from Azure management portal i can do Remote Desktop. But i have seen this issue many times earlier that after few days (sometimes even the other day) i cannot do Remote Desktop to both of the VM's and i keep trying for 10 to 15 times and suddenly i am able to connect to the VM's.

Ammar

Hi Arwind,
I did not do anything special in my VM role. Its usually happens after few days of deployment. Like i said last time i was able to access it after restarting both the instances in my VM role. Now they are working fine but i'm not sure how long will it last. I will post my problem in this thread if is face it again.
Thanks for the support.

Ammar
