How does the Store behave when a in-app-purchase item expires? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm currently implemmenting the in-app-purchase feature of my app.

I'm using the CurrentAppSimulator.ReloadSimulatorAsync() methode to load differrent scenarios and simulate the store behaviour. Im just not entirely sure how the store behaves if a in-app-purchase expires.

I defined a Product with LicenseDuration set to 30 in the WindowsStoreProxy.xml file. If I now buy this product the ExpirationDate is set to a value 30 days from the purchase day and isActive is set to true (Just as expected).

    1) My Question know is if the isActive flag of this product is set back to false by the store after the product expires.

    2) Is it also possible to buy the same product a second time?

    Thanks in Advance

  • 1. IsActive will be set to false after the product expires.

    2. It is possible to purchase a product second time ONLY if isActive is false.
