What API controls the anti –flicker setting of the device's camera ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I work on a Metro style application that uses the device’s camera. To get a hold of the camera I am using the  Windows.Media.Capture.MediaCapture

Class and to control it I am using  the Windows.Media.Devices classes .

I am able to control  various camera functionalities from my code. To name a few: exposure, focus brightness.

I am trying to control also the anti-flickering capabilities of the camera, but unable to find any documentation on how to do that.

I am positive it is possible since the Metro camera application has an anti-flickering control that can be set to Auto, 50 Hz or 60 Hz.

In Additon, when I instantiate and activate the winRT UI Camera class Windows.Media.Capture.CameraOptionsUI , I get the anti-flicker control.

    My question is :

What API controls  the anti –flicker setting of the camera when working with winRT?
