Disable prompt when opening documents (SharePoint Online) RRS feed

    Is it possible to disable the prompt when opening a document from SharePoint Online:

    "You are about to open: xxxxx"

    "How would you like to open this file?
       Read Only
       Edit"

    Ideally, the document would open in Edit mode, if the user has adequate access; otherwise, it would open in Read mode.

    Hi

    Try adding the URL of the sharepoint site to the Trusted Zone and Intranet in IE security.

    Also

    Go to Central Admin -> Manage Web Application -> General Settings -> Browser File Handling  Choose the Radio Button that says Strict
