  • Question

  • Im having trouble getting one of my videos to work on windows media player. Its a .mkv formated and i have the codec to run the video which is the Combined Community Codec. and i have a a few other codecs and i recently installed a AMVapp pack which contains a variety of codecs. WMP always plyed my .MKV videos fine until today when i tried playing it, i get this message:

    Microsoft Visual C++ - Runtime Library

    Assertion failed!

    Profram: ...rogram Files/Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe

    File: C:\Stuff\ffdshow\src\ffmpeg\libavcodec\h264.c

    Line: 2175

    Expression: pic->data[0]

    For more information on how your program can cause an assertion failure, see the Visual C++ documentation on asserts

    (Press Retry to debug the application - JIT must be enabled)
    Abort | Retry | Ignore

    This is the first time ive seen something like this and usually when i have problems with codecs or missing files stuff like that it was alot easier to solve but this is...ugh, cant find out whats wrong. if anyone needs more info, ask and ill list some more. PLEASE HELP!
