Data Center in Africa? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

Any ideas if Microsoft is ever going to open a data center in Africa? The latencies from South Africa to the rest of the world are horrid at best due to the long distances.

  • Your best bet is Northern Europe - it has the highest throughput and the lowest latency of all the current Azure data centres.
