.NET CLR JIT threshold violations RRS feed

Answers

  • Hi Ravikanth,

That indicated that the performance counter exceeded or fell below a set threshold value, in this case .NET CLR JIT %time.
It displays the percentage of elapsed time spent in JIT compilation since the last JIT compilation phase. This counter is updated at the end of every JIT compilation phase. A JIT compilation phase occurs when a method and its dependencies are compiled.

In ASP.NET, we can probably solve this by pre-compiling the ASP.NET websites: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms227972.aspx

I'm not sharepoint expert, not sure if we can do precompilation to sharepoint websites.

    HTH.

    Thanks.
