  • Is it possible to brand team sites? If so, does anyone have an good resources for doing this?

  • Yes, it definitely is possible to brand team sites.  Could you give a little more information about what you are trying to do? 

    The easiest way to do this is with Custom Composed Looks.  If you were looking for something more, you can do a custom master page much the same way you could with SP2010. The biggest difference is that there's no design view for SPD, but otherwise the approach would be essentially the same.

  • Our design works with Publishing templates fine. My problem is that the majority of our sites are based off the team site or blank site template.

  • You absolutely can brand team sites. There is the option to create the custom masterpage and css so you can provide consistency throughout your teams sites. With the themes and composed looks, if you use the spcolor files, it will allow for you to change the colors of the sprite images as well for the page since you cannot change these alone with css.
