Hey all,
I'm trying to get the euro-sign to work in emails I'm sending automatically after a customer places an order in my webshop.
The euro-sign is stored in a MS SQL 2005 database and gets outputed in the email like this "b,".
I'm sending the email as HTML with these 2 lines of code:
Dim mimeType
As System.Net.Mime.ContentType =
New System.Net.Mime.ContentType("text/html")
Dim altBodyHtml
As AlternateView = AlternateView.CreateAlternateViewFromString(BodyHtml, mimeType)
Also tried 2 other things without any luck:
1. New System.Net.Mime.ContentType("text/html;
charset=iso-8859-1")
2. New System.Net.Mime.ContentType("text/html;
charset=utf-8")
I also have a utf-8 reference in my Web.config:
<globalization
enableClientBasedCulture="true"
fileEncoding="utf-8"
requestEncoding="utf-8"
responseEncoding="utf-8"
culture="nl-NL"
uiCulture="nl-NL"
/>
Has anyone experienced the same situation and managed to solve it?
I'm looking forward hearing from you!
Cheers
