My project's path in web deployment package RRS feed

I created a web deployment package for a web application project.  It was created in a release folder in the root of the C drive.  I noticed a long series of folders in the zip file that I can drill down in.   Why is this replication of my file system in this deployment package?

    It's similar to below:

    C:\Releases\MyProject..Web.zip\Content\C_C\Users\[myself]\Documents\Visual Studio 2013\Projects\[My project directory]\[MyProject].Web\obj\Release

    Hi,

    C:\Releases\MyProject..Web.zip\Content\C_C\Users\[myself]\Documents\Visual Studio 2013\Projects\[My project directory]\[MyProject].Web\obj\Release

This issue is related to path in the Publish web Application Wizard where you want the package to be created, including the .zip file name; for example, c:\temp\<projectname>.zip. As an alternative, you can click the ellipsis to open a Select Package Location dialog box. Here are more information about this: Create a Web Deployment Package in Visual Studio

Please let me know if you need any help.

    With regards,

    Angie
