Correctly testing and getting more documentation on testing correctly. RRS feed

  • I would ilke to create a test project for a large WPF application in a group I work in. In the past I just tested methods in my different projects and made sure they all passed. I would like to be a little more thorough with this test project but don't know where to start. Can anyone suggest info/links to info on how to create good c# unit tests, what to test, test cases, etc. ?

One example: I can create a unit test to test a single method where I can pass in values, what do I do if I want to pass in different values, say one set of correct parameter values, one set of incorrect and one set that will do something else. Do I need to create 3 different unit test methods or do I run all three cases from the same unit test method created in the test project? Where do I start with MS testing?
