N-Tier Framework using N-Tier architectural pattern RRS feed

  • Question

  • By using MVC architectural pattern, Microsoft introduced MVC Framework. My questions is, why they did not made any N-Tier Framework using N-Tier architectural pattern or does anything like this exist?

  • Hi Siam,

I believe the reason for your question is the so called "N_Tier" is too general. You can use WPF for interface, or HTML/Javascript/JQuery for web interface, .NET remoting or WCF for communication. MSMQ for asynchronous processing, SQL for data storage, ADO.NET or Entity Framework for data accessing, etc..

It is hard to have a generic N_Tier framework for all of these.

    Hope it helps.
