Providing access to Azure subscription

Question
-
I have an Azure subscription that was created with a Microsoft account.
I want to provide co-administrator access to an organizational account.
When I attempt to provide access to an organizational account I receive the message "the co-administrator must be a Microsoft account, or a user in the Default Directory (somedirectory.onmicrosoft.com) directory. You can only add a co-administrator from the Default Directory directory if you are also a user in that directory."
When I attempt to add my organization's directory domain to the subscription I receive the message "Could not verify this domain because it was previously configured for your tenant or for another tenant."
Our organization's domain is registered to another tenant, our production tenant.
What options do I have for allowing our company's organizational IDs to sign into this subscription?

Hello Greg,
Greetings from Microsoft Azure.
Unfortunately, if you have signed up for Azure using a Microsoft account, you will not be able to add Service Admins or Co-Admins whose email addresses are Organizational accounts. Please check the link below for more details:

Hope it helps!!!
