Changes to .py files in App_Script requires ASP.NET development server restart RRS feed

After starting the ASP.NET dev server by viewing a page in the browser, subsequent changes to .py files in the App_Script directory don't take effect. I have to stop the dev server, then 'view in browser' again (which starts the server again) to see the changes. Is there a work-around for this?

    Hi Michael,

I think you may be seeing the same issue as discussed in this other thread.

    Hi Michael,

I can't repro this. I was able to edit .py file and changes were applied when page is refreshed in the browser. I didn't have to stop and re-start dev server (Webdev.webserver.exe). Please let me know more details if this issue consistently happens. Any help for us to reproduce would be greatly appreciated.

For work-around, normally for an ASP.NET web site, situations like this, (changes not being picked up), could be fixed by touching web.config. Please have a try.

    Thanks!
