  • Hi! gamedev.net.

The forum has more information than the articles; my login there is rick_williams (but I'm not a very active poster.)

  • Collision detection is one of the more complex aspects of 2d game programming, though strictly speaking, it's more algorithmic than mathematical.  At any rate, it's something that needs to be understood, and toward that goal I highly recommend checking out the book "Real-Time Collision Detection" by Christer Ericson.  It covers everything and includes working code samples.  The most relevant sections for 2D games are probably those on uniform and hierarchical grids.

  •  Always have to link to Amit when asking about game math :) Amit’s Game Programming Information.

Also, if your looking for something specific, I've found that wikipedia helps out a bunch. Ie. projectile trajectory math > Trajectory.
