Enabling SQL Server SSL Logs RRS feed

  • Question

  • How do we enable SSL logging in SQL Server? I get an error message saying

" Encryption is required to connect to this server but the client library does not support encryption; the connection has been closed. Please upgrade your client library. [CLIENT: 192.168.xxx.xxx] Error: 17835, Severity: 20, State: 1.  "

Ensure you configure Server correctly, For client part, if it is third party application, please refer to the application configuration for enabling encryption.

  • I am looking for how to enable SSL logging. Information in those pages looks to be about SSL in general.
