  • In BizTalk send macros we support %datetime% (Universal Time (UTC) date time in the format YYYY-MM-DDThhmmss ), %datetime.tz%( Local date time plus time zone from GMT) and %datetime_bts2000%( UTC date time in the format YYYYMMDDhhmmsss, where sss means seconds and milliseconds).

    %datetime.tz%

  • Can you elaborate on "I know i can set this up in orchestration if output is single file."?  You should be able to control each message going out of an orchestration.

Do you already have an orchestration in place?

By batch using external trigger, are you trying to take multiple messages and batch them in a single file with a name containing CCYYMMDDHHMM? Is this batch processed in a single orchestration instance?
