azure sdk 2.9 storage emulator 4.3 is not installed

    Question

  • Hello,

Last Friday, I installed the azure sdk 2.9. Today I wanted to debug a cloud service project (already converted to user the 2.9 sdk). I got bad request exceptions each time I used azure storage, the local emulator while debugging.

Upgraded azure storage nuget packages, still the same symptoms. Checked the storage emulator version, 4.2.0.0 says the command line tool.

Tried to re-install the azure sdk 2.9, it included a message that storage emulator 4.3 was installed. Still the same problem, still version 4.2 according to the command line tool.

I cannot find a link to download azure storage emulator 4.3, so I am stuck at the moment.

The storage emulator link has now been properly updated. You can get v 4.3 from here:

    https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=717179&clcid=0x409

Our apologies for the delay in having this updated.

  • Same issue here

BTW you can downgrade WindowsAzure storage nuget package from version 7.0.0 back to 6.2.0 and this fixes the issue for now until we figure out how to install the storage emulator 4.3.
