Audit Trial Access 2010 Web RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am currently working in access 2010 web app. The issue database template has a audit trail option for the comments 7 updates. I want to understand the logic used here to replicate the same feature in my tool

    Thanks

Could you provide more details about database template has a audit trail option for the comments 7 updates?

    >>>replicate the same feature in my tool

Could you provide information about what you tool is to replicate the same feature?

As far as I know that Data macros are a new feature of Access 2010 which enable you to add logic to events that occur in tables, such as adding, updating, or deleting data. They are similar to "triggers" in Microsoft SQL Server.
So you could capture if someone makes changes in the table itself to set up such an AuditTrail.
