Primavera to MSP Conversion

Question
-
I need to convert a Primavera P6.7 project to MSP 2007.
I hace done but relationships are not there, durations are different and calandars are unknown. Is there a special process I need to go thru.
I exported via XML
Also, if I have baselines in Primavera, how can I get them to MSP?
Is this as waste of effort and the schedule must be rebuilt?

Rick3001 --If you still have access to the Primavera software, try saving the file again as an MPX file. That is the file format uses specifically for data exchange between Primavera and Microsoft Project. Let us know if this helps.

It did work well but, have a few more issues.
- The P6 calendar did not come across. Tasks with my P6 (6) day calendar has defaulted to "none"
- Tasks are all in hours vs days
- Still need to be able to attach the P6 baselines.
Goal is to maintain schedule in P6.7 but, have the ability to export via MSP at clients request (basline included)

So what export formats are available to you in your P6 implementation? I suspect the only format that can import data including calendars into Project is .xml

I did use XML 2003 & 2007. In both cases, all dates were constrained, proper lags were missing and duration's were changed but, calendars did come across.Monday, April 16, 2012 1:19 PM
