Launching default Windows Maps using WPF RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want to use below sample code in WPF user control:

    void ButtonClickMethod()
    {

    Dispatcher.BeginInvoke(new Action(delegat() {Process.Start("ms-drive-to:?destination.latitude=47.680504&destination.longitude=-122.328262&destination.name=Green Lake")}));

    }

    There are other UWP API's like Windows.System.dll which provides a method called as LaunchUriAsync. This API, is not available on machine by default.

    I wanted to understand whether using Process.Start() should be fine? The current code works fine.

    The target machine would be windows 10 tablet

  • Hi RSK123,

    I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish here.  Can you please explain the Bing Maps scenario you are trying to achieve?

    Sincerely,
