Where is the schema definition for http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/2006/documentManagement/types ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Can anyone help me find the schema definition for the following XML namespace?

    http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/2006/documentManagement/types

The namespace is used in the Word Custom XML Parts that are generated by Sharepoint to represent the Document Properties associated with the document in Sharepoint. But I couldn't find a definition in the Sharepoint SDK.

So I thought it might be in InfoPath somewhere, since InfoPath is used to display these properties in the Word Document Information Panel (DIP). But no luck so far.

I also thought it might be one of those cases where Microsoft just provides a namespace URI and each document or content type generates its own schema with that namespace. But that does not seem to be the case, either.

This namespace is also mentioned in the specification document

    [MS-OI-29500].pdf

    obtainable here:

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee908652(v=office.12).aspx

In turn, this references the following document

    [MS-WSSCAML.pdf]

    which can be obtained at

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc313121(v=office.12).aspx

But I don't see a schema for this namespace there, either.
