Cannot find a token authenticator for the 'System.IdentityModel.Tokens.X509SecurityToken' token type. Tokens of that type cannot be accepted according to current security settings. RRS feed

  • Hello everyone,

I'm consuming an external web service in a WCF client using TransportWithMessageCredential as SecurityMode. The transport layer is using https protocol and the message layer is secured with a X509 certificate. The request is working and I receive a response but an error is triggered:

"Cannot find a token authenticator for the 'System.IdentityModel.Tokens.X509SecurityToken' token type. Tokens of that type cannot be accepted according to current security settings."

If I try my client with Fiddler in the midde I can see that the response is valid, with the correct data.

I think the error is that my client is not able to verify the signature ? maybe I have to add security policy?

    Anyone has the same error?

    Thank you :)
