Where do I go to report bugs with VSTO 2010? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have encountered a problem while developing a customization for Microsoft Project 2010 using Visual Studio Tools For Office.  I believe the issue is a bug and I would like to report it to someone.  Where should I go to do that?

  • Hi Tom

The best place to start is probably here, to get confirmation.

The official place would be on the microsoft Connect site: 611dc805-aa07-404e-b850-ee6837db9a7c

  • Hi Thomas,

I appology on getting to this case late. I have replied to the above mentioned question and solved it. It's not a bug though. Anyway, you're always welcome to send feedback to Microsoft.  As Cindy mentioned, Connect website is the way to file Visual Studio bugs.

  • Cindy,

Thanks for your response.  I have posted a question regarding my issue here:

    http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vsto/thread/27ed6130-1046-4fb2-88b2-8001859c3bd7

So far there has been no response, can you confirm if my issue is a known problem?

    Thanks in advance
