Blank Page After Authentication RRS feed

  • Hello All,

           I have got an Internal Webserver which we use it for helpdesk system running on windows 2003 enterprise sp2 installed with Sql. I have a user which tries to logon to the server using internet explorer.

    http://10.0.0.1/support after this it authenticates using active directory credential after authentication a blank page appears page cannot be found. This happens with only a single user all other users are working fine. Listed below are thigns i have already performed.

    Updated the Nic Drivers.
    Tried reaching other webservers located internally works very fine except http://10.0.0.1/support 
    removed NIc drivers and reinstalled
    at last traced some packets using wireshark

    the last 3 packets with tcp session states this listed below.

    Acknowledgment number: Broken TCP. The acknowledge field is nonzero while the ACK flag is not set

    I have got a trace file if needed i can upload it for you guys.

  • A trace from the server should show you all the information you need to troubleshoot this problem.  You should see the user request for the webpage comming in.  Then you can associate authentication traffic based on the time the request arrives. 

    This particular forum is geared towards using Network Monitor.  In that respect, I can tell you how to narrow the traffic down but I'm not sure how helpful I'll be resolving your issue.  For that you might want to open a case with our product support.
